Fun in the sun - day 1

We went to the beach this weekend along with Carole and her family.

We were on the 11th floor

The weather and water were beautiful! Every time I am at the beach I think about the song,

"The Love of God."

Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made, Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade, to write the love of God above would drain the ocean dry. Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky. O Love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure: The saints' and angels' song.

To stop and look at the ocean and think of it being full of ink and the sky--a big piece of paper--no matter how much you could write, you could never write all of God's love for us! Wow! I am so thankful for God's beauty that He has given us to enjoy.

Celebrating 7 years!

Saturday night we went out and celebrated our 7th anniversary!

7 years and I love him more every day!

We had to stop by Burger King first and get Keaton something to eat.

Then we went to Longhorns for supper!

We both had steaks! Yummy!

After supper, we went to the Galleria to look around.

On our way back home Keaton said, "This is the best anniversary I've ever had!"

7 years and counting!

Remembering back 7 years ago to when we said, "I do."

Oh, to be young and skinny again! Cutting our cakes! My friend from work, Janice, made both our cakes! They were so delicious! I loved mine it was in the shape of a wedding bell. My family - Mom, Dad & Keaton Keaton was 3 when we got married. I can't believe how little he was! He had to stand on a stool to see over the table. So, we took another trip that summer to the mountains in TN and took him with us!

GIRLS DAY OUT

Last Saturday we had a girls day out shopping trip to the Galleria!

We wanted to do something special with Kandice before she leaves for college in a few weeks!

We had so fun much. We laughed and made lots of good memories. I can't believe Kandice will soon be leaving for college. Things just won't be the same without her.
