October Bible Study

October WMS Bible Study was at my house this month. We reviewed Hebrews 3 & 4. After our Bible Study we gave Sis. Dorothy a kitchen linen shower for pastor appreciation month! We love our pastor and our pastor's wife!

Old friends and making new ones!

Enjoyed a wonderful revival last week with my childhood friend Mark Stetler. His father was our pastor for 7 years.
Mark, his wife Kathyrn and their daughter Ellie singing during revival.
Clark & Keaton Tyler, Keaton & Jake Tyler, Keaton, Jake & Ellie playing with homemade UNO cards. It was fun seeing our children play together like we use too. Carole and I fixed some refreshments and Friday night after service we met at the fellowship hall and reminiscenced by looking at Stanton Christian School year books!

Heading home

This is the beautiful little creek behind our hotel.
Mural painted on the walls of the inside pool facilities. On our way home, we stopped by the Mayfield Dairy Farm in Athens, TN
We had to wear this fine looking attire in order to take the tour of the dairy.
I just loved putting this thing on! RIGHT!! Although, I thought that if I worked here I wouldn't have to worry about fixing my hair every day. I could just put this hair net on and go!
We couldn't take any pictures during the tour.
Scotty Mayfield
We enjoyed a scoop of Mayfield ice cream after the tour.
After stretching our legs, it was time to get back in the truck and head toward Alabama! It was a fun vacation, but there's nothing like home sweet home!

Pigeon Forge - Day 3

Across the street from where we were staying was Indoor Skydiving. Of course, Keaton had to try it! He had to sit through a 5 minute video class and then he was ready to get his skydiving gear on. Tony helping him get his suit on.
He was so excited!
He's ready to fly! We were able to watch him through the glass on the outside of the wind tunnel. I tried to take some pictures, but through the glass they were all blurry. He did great and then did it again the next day. Glad there isn't one of these close to home because it's not cheap!!!
We let Keaton chose the show that we would go see and he picked Magic Beyond Belief. I was kinda nervous with the whole magic thing, but it wasn't anything like what I expected. It was an awesome show! This guy did some amazing things that blew our minds. He was very talented. Magic Beyond Belief with Terry Evanswood
At one point Terry was in this cage. A drape was put over the cage then pulled off and this tiger appeared in the cage and Terry came walking up from the back of the audience! AMAZING how quickly he can do that!
Tiger with the trainer.
Playing putt-putt golf. It was a close game, but Tony won.
Love these elephants!
Roll Tide Roll!
One of their favorite things to do - ride go-carts!
Supper time at Cracker Barrel. We all love to eat here and Keaton loves their biscuits!
