The Pool Is Open!

The pool is open--I didn't say it's warm--but it is open. Keaton and Damian took the plunge Saturday. It took them a few minutes to get use to the water, but after that they enjoyed it.

Burrrrrrrrr
Keaton ran and jumped in too and then headed to the steps to warm in the sun.

My rose bush

This is the beautiful rose bush next to our house. I can't take credit for it because I have a black thumb! My Grannie planted it many years ago. She loved flowers. I think of her when this rose bush is in full bloom.

Feeling Better

Praising God that Tony is better! The antibiotics are working and he is much better. Tony was off Friday so he worked around the house doing some spring cleaning.

Tick Bite

About 2 weeks ago Tony found a tick on his arm. He didn't think it was attached so he pulled it off and didn't think any more about it. Then he started noticing a place on his arm where the tick apparently bit him. This past Saturday he came in and was feeling very tired and had a headache. Tuesday when he got home from work he was running a fever and aching. His arm had a hard knot on it so he went to the doctor yesterday. They told him that it is either Lyme Disease or Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. They have started him on antibiotics. Please keep him in your prayers!
He said that he felt a little better this morning. The doctor told him not to work, but that's like telling a dog not to bark so he went to work today, but thank goodness, the shop will be closed tomorrow. That doesn't mean he won't be working though. I'm sure you will find him outside working on a Mustang in the back yard!

After the evening service, the weather sirens started going off. We all left church in a hurry! When we got home, we went to daddy's to eat supper. Just as we started eating the power went off. We finished our supper by candle light. Thankfully, we didn't have any storm damage--just rain. Our lights came on about 11:40 p.m. Thanking the Lord for a good Lord's Day and His hand of protection!

Choir Concert

Saturday night the Hobe Sound Choir was in concert at our church. I have to say it was one of the best choirs I have heard in a long time. God really came and His Presence was so real! It was an awesome time!

Enjoying a good book with a friend

One sunny afternoon last week Keaton took his reading book from school and went outside to read. When he sat down, Rebel climbed up in the chair with him so Keaton started reading his book out loud to him. They both seemed to enjoy it.
He is reading one of the Box Car Children books.
~ Nothing like a good book and a good friend ~
Looks like the book has put Rebel to sleep!
